BrickLab Start building

Privacy policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This policy explains what BrickLab collects when you use the BrickLab website and app, why, who helps us run the service, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

1. What we collect

  • Your account: your email address, a password (stored only as a secure hash, never readable by us), the display name you choose, and whether your email is confirmed.
  • Signing in with Google: if you choose "Continue with Google", Google tells us your name, your email address, your profile picture and your Google account ID. We never see your Google password.
  • Purchases: the credit packs you buy, what you paid, the promo codes you used and your invoices. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Purchases in the iPhone or Android app are handled by Apple or Google, which tell us what was bought.
  • Credits and unlocks: your credit balance, how each credit was added or spent, and the premium designs you unlocked.
  • Create with AI: the ideas (prompts) you type, the pictures you upload, and what the AI makes from them: pictures, 3D models, building instructions and their names.
  • Usage and security logs: the pages and model files you open, the time, your IP address, your browser or app version, and errors. They keep the service working and stop scraping, abuse and fraud.
  • On your device: the website keeps your sign-in and a few preferences (for example your step size in the manual) in your browser's storage. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

2. Why we use it

  • To run your account, sign you in and keep it secure.
  • To keep your credits, your unlocked designs and your AI designs on every device you sign in on.
  • To make your AI designs, and to check every idea and picture first so that nothing adult, gory or hateful is made.
  • To take payments, send invoices and handle refunds.
  • To send you the emails the service needs: confirming your email, resetting your password, a design being ready or failing, and receipts.
  • To protect the designs and the service from scraping, copying, abuse and fraud.
  • To fix problems and improve BrickLab.
  • To keep the records the law requires.

3. Who helps us run BrickLab

These companies process data for us, only to provide their part of the service:

  • Webmati: hosting of the website, the app's backend, the database, file storage and sign-in.
  • Stripe: card payments, invoices and refunds.
  • SendGrid: sending BrickLab's emails.
  • An AI service with an OpenAI-compatible interface: checking ideas and pictures, and improving prompts.
  • fal.ai: making the pictures and 3D models for Create with AI.
  • Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play): purchases made in the BrickLab app.
  • Google: "Continue with Google" sign-in, when you choose it.

Some of them process data outside your country. We only share what each one needs.

4. How long we keep it

  • Your account and its data: for as long as your account exists, or until you delete your data (below).
  • AI designs: until you delete them. A deleted design leaves your account at once, and its files are removed by our daily clean-up.
  • Purchases and the credit history: as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after you delete your data.
  • Logs: only as long as needed for security and fixing problems.

5. Deleting your data

  • On the website: My BrickLab › Account › Delete my data. In the app: Settings › Delete account.
  • This erases your AI designs, your unlocks, your remaining credits and your name. Purchases and the credit history stay as financial records. It can't be undone.
  • If you signed in with Google, you can also remove BrickLab's access in your Google account, under Security › Third-party apps and services.
  • You can also write to CONTACT_EMAIL to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy, and to object to or limit how we use it. Write to CONTACT_EMAIL with the email of your BrickLab account and we'll answer.

7. Children

Children can build our designs with a parent, a guardian or a teacher. A BrickLab account, purchases and Create with AI are for adults, or for a child using them with the permission of a parent or guardian.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we update this page and the date above. For important changes, we tell you by email or on the website.
